Panerai Introduces the Submersible EcoPangaea Tourbillon GMT PAM01108

The Replica Submersible EcoPangaea Tourbillon GMT PAM01108 is equipped with a skeletonised movement featuring a second time zone and tourbillon. More unusually, the massive, 50 mm case of the PAM 1108 is fabricated from recycled steel.

Named EcoPangaea steel, the material is recycled from the discarded drive shaft of Pangaea, the Panerai Replica 35 m sailboat owned by South African conservationist and explorer Mike Horn.

The PAM 1108 is powered by the P.2005/T, a movement Perfect Panerai Replica has used on several other skeleton-tourbillon watches. Hand-wound with a six-day power reserve, the P.2005/T incorporates a second time zone function with a central GMT hand, as well as the novel tourbillon at 10 o’clock.

Unlike conventional tourbillons that rotate on the same plane as the dial, with the balance wheel oscillating the same axis of rotation, the Fake Panerai tourbillon rotates perpendicular to the dial, like a barbecue spit, and at high speed, making one revolution every 30 seconds.

Quality Replica Panerai Radiomir 8 Days 45mm PAM 992

Replica Panerai Radiomir 8 Days 45mm-It has a vintage-esque style – not really a one for one remake – combined with an in-house, eight-day movement. Most unusually, the steel case has a faux aged finish that Panerai is trying for the first time.

The new Radiomir is not a remake of a vintage Fake Panerai, but rather it’s a mix-and-match of various elements, including the engraved logo and “8 Giorni” emblem at three. Traditionalists might find it impure, but that was essentially the founding formula for the modern Panerai company.

The result is a good-looking watch that approximates the look of a vintage Perfect Panerai Replica while offering modern conveniences like a long power reserve.

The coolest detail of all – but arguably the most out of place since it wasn’t found on any vintage originals remotely resembling this watch- is the emblem at three o’clock. Translating as “8 Days Patented”, the logo boosts the retro feel of the watch, while also giving the dial a bit of symmetry.

And vintage vibes are completed by the highly domed sapphire crystal that mimics the PlexiGlas found on vintage Panerai Replica. Importantly, the sapphire crystal passes the test: it is sufficiently domed that is slightly distorts the edge of the dial when viewed from an angle.

Panerai Luminor vs. Luminor 1950 Replica Comparison

On the surface, Perfect Replica Panerai has three main watch case shapes: Radiomir, Luminor, and Submersible. However, if we dig a little deeper, we’ll quickly see that there are variations of these main case styles that warrant their own sub-collections. For example, at a glance, the Panerai Luminor and the Luminor 1950 cases look identical.

Panerai Luminor Vs. Luminor 1950 Cases

If you look at the Fake Luminor and the Luminor 1950 from the front, they appear to have near-identical cases. However, when viewed from the side, the differences immediately reveal themselves. The Luminor cases have shorter lugs, a downward sloping case band, and a flatter crystal. The profile view of the Luminor is streamlined, following a simpler arch from the tip of one lug to the tip of the opposite lug.

On the other hand, a profile view of the Panerai Luminor 1950 Replica Watch case reveals longer lugs, a U-shaped case band, and a domed crystal to mimic the acrylic crystals used on vintage models. Thanks to the U-shaped middle section, the case structure of the Luminor 1950 is more elaborate than its “Bettarini” counterpart.

Overall, while both the Luxury Fake Panerai Luminor and the Luminor 1950 are based upon the Panerai 6152/1 watch from 1950, the former features a looser and more modern interpretation of the case while the latter adheres far more closely to the original.
